COVIDx Talks: Creating With Uncertainty
20 May 2020, 8am EST / 8pm GMT+8
5 artists, 3 countries, 2 hours exploring: Creating With Uncertainty.
What is uncertainty, and the reciprocity between an artist and the unknown? This Micro Galleries series of two-hour Pecha Kucha-style presentations, where five MG International Artist Collective explore how they are creating with uncertainty in these crazy times.
We delved into our practices, lived experience and diverse cultural reality in order to unpack how our creative and personal identities are intertwined or removed from the concept of uncertainty. The uncertain picture of today and tomorrow informs our practices—how? And how can we remain optimistic through uncertainty generating opportunity through foraging for the new?
